Cubicle entrance... facing is or away from it?

So we have another office issue at hand...

Cubicle entrances... is it optimum to be facing it or away from it. Pros and Cons to each, followed by a brief conclusion:

Facing cubicle entrance:
PRO
Can see who is approaching, so as not to be startled.
Privacy of what is on your computer screen (put that porn away!)
CON
Can't close eyes
Can't read a magazine
Can't eat food w/o looking like little piggy
Seeing Banana Clip lady walk by... oh the horror!!

NOT facing cubicle entrance:
PRO
Read and cover material w/ body
Eat in privacy (sort of)
Rest your hand on your head and the other hand on mouse and look like you are working when you take a brief nap (I of course would NEVER do this! ;-) )
CON
Getting the shit scared out of you when someone approaches
Not having control over what people see on your screen... what sucks the most!

To conclude... I like it better NOT facing the entrance. The sleeping thing for me outweights the seeing-your-computer-screen. It is not like I have something bad up... just not work per se. Plus, I have the reflexes of a tiger... you should see the way I revert back to my e-mail screen if I hear footsteps come past my safety perameter.

Shit... I hear someone...coming.... back to e-mail!


p.s~ Random comment of today: Don't yo hate it when string cheese doesn't live up to its name? I mean... geez, I pull and I pull (fast-swift pulls, and gentle pulls) with the same damn result. Then need to call it Clump Cheese.
