It's a small world after all....... but who said it was fair?

So I am up for this sort-of promotion at work. I would be moving into another department where I actually am more qualified to work. However, I just find out today that my supervisor (yes... my boss) wants to apply for that job as well. He has no experience in that field and actually is planning on going to Law School... so why ruin my opportunity?

Damn....

We'll see how it goes. I'm sad.
