Vacation Days
...oh how I love you! You bring me a warm and fuzzy feeling in my tummy when I sleep through my alarm and don't have to feel guilty about it.
I find that it is best to take vacation days for no reason. Yes, they are useful when you need to go to the doctor's office or have some sort of reason... but then (usually) you aren't enjoying the benefits of having a day off. Days off are meant for you to do nothing. I call them my Veggie days. They are most enjoyed horizontal reading a nice book/magazine or watching TV/movie. Snacks are welcome, but not a necessity, as I find myself on normal occurrences drifting in and out of consciousness blissfully.
Showers should not be taken, non-pajamas should not be worn, feet should rarely touch the floor (except for the occasional potty break). Ahhhh... I'm imagining it now whilst seated in my cube, ID badge digging into my side, shirt collar acting all bajjigity. Nice....

The Nice thing about a vacation day, is it is like a Snow day when you where growing up and had no school, but better. There is an excitement about it, even if you are doing nothing. Although I must admit I can't sleep in on those vacation days, some days it is nice to get out of bed and do nothing even if it's early.

I am just someone who stumbled upon you and have enjoyed what you wrote. The question at hand is do you want to whom I am in a physical presence, where I live, what I do, and my stats so to speak. Or are you asking who I really am, my passions my fears, my thoughts, my soul. Those are two different things, in which case you need to travel down to different roads to discover the answers.

I was googling the article about red heads being able to tolerate more pain, in order to send to a friend, so I could point out I knew how she was able to put up with me. Being the pain in the Ass I am.
Well the word friend has many meanings. A person whom one knows, likes, and trusts, or A person with whom one is allied in a struggle or cause; a comrade, or One who supports, sympathizes with, or patronizes a group, cause, or movement. You never know what things we support, be allied in or sympathize over, so we may be friends and not know it. :)

I am not in Mom's Basement, I though as a teacher you would look at the world with open eyes, instead of display ignorance and prejudice. Don't you teach your students to explore something before judging it? Glad I don't have any kids in your tutelage, I expect a higher standard.
