Lazy Lazy Lazy

Sorry people... I've been a lazy gal when it comes to writing. I told myself that I need to write everyday, no matter what the subject, to stay in practice. Sort of like conditioning for the mind.

So let's get down to the updates. I had a great x-mas and new years... you? How was yours? Well that's good to hear. I'm glad Santa brought you that ******* with the extra AA batteries. I got basically everything on my list plus some surprises, so thank you to everyone who contributed to the "Lisa Is Poor" Foundation this holiday season. With your thoughtful contributions, Lisa may soon be able to resume her shopping addiction at Target.

As for heading back to work, well I guess I'm as well as can be expected of someone who works a 8:30am-5pm job. I miss the sleeping my week off afforded me. Let me tell you, I got an abundance of it. And now, here I sit... typing away at my desk... missing my pillow. The one in the car is not as comfortable, plus it is frickin' freezing out there. Car naps are getting more difficult as the days pass. However, I have found a new activity to pass my lunch hour. I purchased a Video iPod for x-mas. Yes, I do have a green iPod mini already, but I have decided that I will pass him on to my mom, and I can enjoy the newest of technology. My Video iPod is great. I have uploaded about 1,000 songs, 6 full length movies, 12 episodes of Gilmore Girls, 6 episodes of Sex and the City, and 7 episodes of Seinfeld.... and I have only used 1/2 the memory! On my lunch hour, I sit at my desk, prop up the iPod, jam my buds deep in my ears, and enjoy. I also have found that it is great to work out w/, especially on the bike. There is the tiniest edge to rest it on. My trainers have a TV, but it only has news channels. I get depressed hearing about the turmoil around the world, especially when I'm trying to be peppy and keep my ass moving for the rest of the 45 mins.

Another update is that one of my very best friends (and co-cat mom.... shut up... we are not dorks) Charisse has gotten engaged! YAY!!! I am very proud to be named a bridesmaid. She and the kitties are very happy and excited, as am I. Her fiance is a very nice man... whom I introduced her to... and will make her very happy. I have been playing a lot of Trivial Pursuit 20th Anniversary Ed. w/ DVD at their apt. recently. Wow... I sound more like I'm 45 instead of 23. Maybe I need a bar night... huh?

Well that's about it for now. I'll try to keep up on my duties of entertaining all you bored souls out there. It amazes me that I'm not the cause of that boredom... well... geez... maybe I am.
